From the desk of the Pastor:
Family, I have dedicated my life to doing God's great work!  We are to be lifting the Savior up and declaring His unsearchable truth to all of humanity!  We are also to be lifting the risen Savior up so He can draw all men.  It is my effort to doall I can in the advancement of His Holy and Sacred Kingdom.  I personally extend the invittion to everyone who reads this to join us at the New Testament Baptist Church as we both magnify as well as glorify the Lord.

Our Pastor is a gifted teacher and preacher. Each week he delivers a message that is based on sound Biblical principles. His Bible teaching is easy to understand and always contains practical applications for real-life circumstances. He also has a passion for working with people who are dealing with addictions. Pastor is a man who loves God and enjoys working with people.

Our Pastor

Rev. David X. Derry was born and reared in Houston, Texas.  He also spent his secondary eductional years in Crosby, Texas.  He is a devoted servant of God, dynamic husband and wonderful father of three.  Rev.  Derry publicly announced his callig in 2004 at the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Longview, Texas and has been procliming the gospel every since. He is totally committed to the doctrince and techings of the Bible.  He believes the Bisble in its entirety and i dedicted to the Will as well as the Work of the Lord.

Rev. Derry received his Associates in Applied Arts from Tarrant County College in 2004.  He went on to reveive his Bachelors of Arts in Kinesiology with a double minor in Mathematics and History in 2006.  He received his Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2018.
